Jetbull are another of the up and coming bookmakers in the industry. With this comes a fresh deposit bonus option where you can receive up to £75 in bonus money from your opening deposit. At a 50% match it’s not the highest percentage on offer, but the amount generally makes up for this.
The bonus will hit your account as soon as you’ve made your first deposit, which means you are able to start with a much bigger bankroll than you possibly would have at another bookmaker. To claim the full bonus a deposit of £150 or greater will be required, but that £150 deposit will essentially give you a starting balance of £225 straight away.
The site are a little thin on the ground in terms of other sports bonuses, but they do have healthy casino and poker section, of which you can claim bonuses alongside your existing sports bonus.
How it works
The bonus is set up around your first deposit of £10 or more. Once you’ve made your deposit, 50% of this will hit your account immediately for you to start using as you please. The site does state that any bets made before the bonus is manually credited to your account will result in a forfeit of the bonus, so it’s worth making sure it’s in there before proceeding with any bets. If you have any queries, get in touch with customer support before making your bet.
You will then need to wager through both your bonus amount and your deposit amount 20 times before being able to withdraw any funds. Withdrawals made prior to these terms being met will forfeit your bonus and any winnings that have come from your bonus. Only bets made at odds of 2.0 (evens) or greater will be eligible for clearance terms and the maximum you can work towards your bonus from each bet is £50.
As ever, there are a few requirements to look out for with this Jetbull, so here they are.
- 50% of your first deposit will be your bonus amount up to a maximum of £75
- The bonus should hit your account straight away, but any bets made prior to that will forfeit your bonus
- You need to wager through your bonus and deposit 20 times before being able to withdraw
- Bet made on outrights and horse markets will not count towards your clearing requirements
- You get 30 days in which to clear the full amount of your bonus
On the outside it looks like you are going to be getting a pretty good deal from Jetbull. A £75 bonus credited straight to your account gives you an instant bankroll boost, but there are a few key terms and conditions, which make this less than lucrative.
The main one that stands out is the 20x clearance rate. If you were to deposit and claim the full amount (£150 deposit + £75 bonus = £225 total) this would mean that you’d need to wager a staggering £4,500 in just 30 days to clear your bonus. Also, the fact that only £50 max of every bet will count towards this means that you’d need to make 90 bets at £50 to hit your 30 day target. Unless you are a high volume (and stakes) bettor, then there is likely going to be better options in the industry, for the same reward, than Jetbull.
Jetbull have been around since 2007 and whilst in that period have managed to create one of the biggest online casinos in the industry, they have also managed to create a more than adequate sportsbook to accompany that. The company are based and licensed out of Malta with a customer base well into the six figure region.
Over that period they have been working hard on bringing the sportsbook up to scratch and have gone through several re-designs to try and attract a larger player pool.
The range of sports that are on offer is really quite commendable. They are bookmaker that allows you to see exactly how many markets are open for each sport, which is nice, but it also highlights just how much they rely on football betting with over 20,000 markets on offer, and this is through the off-season. Coverage of other sports do suffer somewhat, and it was surprising to see the likes of horse racing only have around 30 markets to their name.
The site probably lacks a little in terms of features if we were being honest and there isn’t much to report outside of the usual player promotions. We did like their live betting section though, and even though it’s a feature that pretty much every bookmaker do offer, the range of markets on offer was of a really good standard.
Pricing wise we found Jetbull to be fairly run of the mill, in terms of not really being best priced, but never being worst priced from the markets that we checked. It’s pretty common for a site such as Jetbull, which probably doesn’t have the stature that others do, to be in this mid range of pricing though, so nothing untoward there.
Ease of use
The design of the site is really nice and it’s clear that they have kept it very simple. There is little clutter on page to be honest and when you need to find something, it’s often only a couple of clicks away.
