Betfair: Free £5 Football Bet When You Bet £10 On The Japanese Grand Prix

Formula 1 Car

This weeks Grand Prix takes place in Japan. Or rather, we hope it will as there’s a rather nasty Typhoon threatening to cause havoc in Suzuka this weekend.  But the FIA are optimistic and, with a little wiggle room created in the schedule, they are planning on going ahead with the race.

Needless to say though, if the race does happen the conditions will be wet, windy and very slippery – which makes the betting a little more interesting. At time of writing, Lewis Hamilton is clear favourite at odds of around 5/6 with Nico Rosberg just a little bit longer at 2/1. Whilst it’s a bit of a boring bet, we feel that Hamilton is the man to back here.

Regardless of who you bet on though, if you do it at Betfair you can pick yourself up a free £5 bet for West Ham v QPR. To get the free bet, you need to place a £10 wager on the race winner market at any point between now and the start of the race (in play bets don’t count). And as per usual, you need to place the bet using Betfairs sportsbook, not their exchange.

If you do this, the £5 bonus will be credited as soon as your qualifying bet has been placed. You must use the free bet on the correct score market (either pre-match or in-play) of the West Ham v QPR match which takes place on Sunday at 16:15 (blighty time).

Now all that’s left is to decide on what score to score for with the free bet. A West Ham win seems pretty likely, and given the way they’ve been playing, it’s also likely that QPR wont be scoring in the game.  With this in mind we’ll be backing a 2-0 Hammers win at 8/1, which would work out as a £40 profit from your free bet.
